Introducing SchoolJobs.com: Careers Site for Jobs in Education

by John Calderon (NEOED) on January 03, 2022

NEOED is excited to announce the launch of SchoolJobs.com, sister site to the #1 public sector job board GovernmentJobs.com. Like GovernmentJobs.com before it, SchoolJobs.com is focused on the promotion of career opportunities in education, as well as sourcing candidates that are specifically looking to work in education. SchoolJobs.com will cater to HR professionals and job seekers in the K-12 and higher education sectors (including universities, colleges, and community colleges). To celebrate the occasion, SchoolJobs.com is offering employers at educational institutions free one-year subscriptions to post unlimited job listings.

NEOED has experienced explosive growth with educational institutions since officially launching in 2020, leading to a desire to support the space with a dedicated job board just as NEOGOV has done with GovernmentJobs.com.

The talent crunch currently being experienced across the entire job market has made it challenging and, for some positions, almost impossible to attract and recruit candidates.
Job boards that are highly trafficked like LinkedIn and Indeed are often too broad to capture qualified applicants that are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in education. While these job boards may generate a high volume of applicants, employers commonly find themselves abandoned by casual candidates or those unfamiliar with the education recruitment process and timeline. SchoolJobs.com aims to establish a job board that is exclusively designed to advertise jobs in education, from administrative and student jobs to prestigious faculty positions.

NEOED's goal is to successfully connect eligible job seekers that have gone out of their way to look at jobs in education with open positions that are a good fit for their experience and requirements. Similarly, SchoolJobs.com will serve as a critical candidate sourcing portal for educational institutions that know exactly what they are looking for in qualified candidates.
